HOW DO I EDIT OR CREATE AN ARTICLE?
-- That’s pretty easy. If you noticed a mistake or want to add some info to a page, just click “Edit” on the top left corner of the article and write whatever you want. When you’re done, click “Save”, add a short description about your changes and voilà! The article is saved. You can also make changes to specific sections by clicking the “Edit” links next to their titles.
There are two ways of editing pages, the Visual Editor (it opens automatically when clicking “Edit”) and the Classic Editor. You can use the Classic Editor by hovering your mouse over the small arrow down next to the “Edit” button and clicking “Classic Editor”.
Creating pages is a little different, but still very easy. At the top right corner of your screen, it should say the number of articles currently in the wiki. On the right, there’s a button called “Create Page” and that’s it.
HOW CAN I EDIT MY PROFILE?
-- On the top of your screen is a dark blue bar, and somewhere on the right side, there’s a small icon showing your profile picture (or the default picture if you don’t have an account. If so, click it and register.). Hover your mouse over the picture and click “View Profile”. After that, all you have to do is edit the page like any other articles!
CAN I TALK TO OTHER USERS?
-- Yes, you can! Click the name of the user you want to talk to and switch to the tab saying “Message Wall” below their information. You should see two text fields: “What’s this about?”, where you can add a small summary of what your message is about. “Post a new message to <user>’s wall” is where you can write down what you actually want to tell them.
I NOTICED SOMEONE BREAKING A RULE. WHERE CAN I REPORT THEM?
-- If you see someone not following a rule, tell an admin on their message wall giving following points:
• The name of the user (use a link please)
• The rule they broke (spamming on articles, disrespecting others etc) and a short description of it
• A screenshot or a link as proof
You can also add a post in discussions including given points. An admin will talk to the user and they might even be blocked from editing and creating articles. If your report was successful, you can get a custom name link (choose a font, a color, a text shadow and more which is shown on a link to your profile) for up to one week.
MORE IS COMING SOON, SO STAY TUNED!
