  • Could I add all the different skins that there are and their costs? We could either put the basic guest player change skin page with all the skins. Maybe have the different types. I'll upload the guest picture now on a page called player skins.

    • Of course you can. When uploading the pictures, make sure they are cropped properly and have a high resolution (you can zoom in on your browser to improve the resolution). Have fun!

    • Yep. Made the page. Go ahead and look at it.

  • You must be really good at CSS/Fandom code to do all the things that you've done on your profile. Well done. :) Also, good job on your high score. Maybe I should add that on my profile....

  • Hey Sunny, were you the one that added all of the tables explaining the different types of helicopter loadouts? (e.g. builder, shooter, sniper, etc)?

      Loading editor
    • Yeah, I added them. However, the only builds I "created" (I didn't invent them though) are Shooter and Fast Builder. Someone else told me to add the Hybrid builds as well.

    • Ok - just checking. I didn't alter any of the builds, but I did put a note on the bottom that having an odd number of points in Tower HP is a waste (I tested this earlier). One of the builds suggested 3 points in Tower HP... not sure if you want to change that (or I could if you want). I just didn't want to change anything you had made without asking.

        Loading editor
    • Well, you can change anything you want as long as it's 32 points which are spent. Actually, it was someone on Discord who gave me those builds. I tested the last one with 2 Tower Health and 1 Tower Shield and I think that combination is quite good.

  • Hey Sunny - I'm the one that created the Defly New User guide a few months ago after talking with Serial on discord. You've done a really great job upgrading the defly wiki to make it more user friendly and a lot more visually appealing, which is awesome. However, I would like to ask you to please stop adding incorrect information to the sections that I've created. For instance, the little note about XP requirements where you wrote "the actual amount is not sure". I added a note about this in my revision clarifying that I tested it pretty thoroughly. It might be off by up to 25 XP (because I used 5-HP towers to test it), but that's still pretty close. Thanks!

    • Hi, first of all thanks for the compliment. But I already sent you a message (it somehow disappeared) that I was talking about the fact that there's no actual amount of XP given in the game. ("...Your level and the blue progress bar show how much XP you have earned, but there is no numerical indicator of how much you have. Therefore, this article defines 1 XP as the amount earned from claiming a single square of territory on the grid of the map.")

    • I completely understand what you mean, and I agree that there's no way for us to know for sure what values are being assigned to each action. That being said, there almost definitely IS some numerical value, it's just not directly displayed in game for us to see. Since there doesn't seem to be any way to directly determine the XP value, I just defined 1 XP as the value for capturing 1 square on the grid, then used that as the standard. Of course, if there were a better standard, then I would be all up for seeing it, but I tested the XP values pretty thoroughly and created a spreadsheet of the values to test all of that stuff. Then I created that scatterplot and fit a trendline to it... the formula on the chart is just an approximation, but the points themselves were the direct results of my test.

    • Ok.... I just went back and relooked at what you wrote and I understand what you're trying to say. I totally agree with what you're saying - I'm just going to reword it a little to make it a bit clearer. Let me know what you think about the change.

    • Yeah, it sounds good now. Thanks!
